How to copy Syspro settings files to a different server or company

To copy settings files, you need to copy these files:
C:\Syspro7\WORK\Xadm* and XTBL*
Where X is the company prefix you are copying.
Copy these to the new server.
Do not copy the ADM* files; these are the general server settings.
You would also copy (a backup of) the database.

To copy settings to a different company (e.g. from company D to company E):
Copy the settings file to the new server and log into the new company (company E in this example).
Then go to Setup / General Setup / Company Setup; select the company you want to change; go to Options and change the Ledger file company and Inventory file company, as shown in the screen shot below.

Then go to General Ledger / Setup / GL Copy, Merge and Delete (see screen shot below).
Select Copy live ledger, and select the From company (which you would set to company D in this example). This will copy company D’s settings to the company you have currently logged in to.
